This, the final unit of Common Ground's Outdoor Leadership course, builds and applies the skills students need to lead outdoor experiences. Students build practical skills for outdoor first aid and disaster preparedness, work through scenarios where they have to solve potential outdoor leadership challenges, practice their trip planning and facilitation skills, and take part in an extended outdoor adventure. This unit includes resources from an APEX online health course that requires a subscription; other materials can be substituted in their place.
