Purpose

Teaching Our Cities is growing urban public schools that mobilize their cities as learning laboratories, that are responsive to the cities their students call home, and that tackle urban environmental questions and challenges – growing a new, diverse generation of environmental and community leaders.

Teaching Our Cities was funded in part by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under assistance agreement number 00A00115  to Common Ground High School, awarded in 2016.
